Novascene Hekhalot

Novascene Hekhalot is an experimental unreal engine opera based on the book by James Lovelock dealing with the transition in geologic epochs from the human world (anthropocene) to the world of intelligent machines (novascene), but through the lens of Jewish Merkabah Mysticism, whereinwhich the sages would imagine the palaces of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. It is composed of 7 different videos.

Prologue:

The Golem of San Francisco. 2050 AD; setting: VR -- showing the birth of the first AGI in San Francisco. Featuring Dan Gorelick on the electric cello.

Main Story:

(1.) Ophanim Gate. 25,000 AD; setting VR -- showing a cyberized human consciousness' encounter with a more advanced AI (The Ophanim, spinning wheel); this gives that human consciousness an alternate perspective.

(2.) Medea Hypothesis. 25,000 AD; setting physical reality -- where lower cyberized humans ask upper cyberized humans to grant them more access to the ASIs (artificial super intelligences).

(3.) Contra Autonomous Warfare. 25,050 AD; setting physical reality -- where lower cyberized humans encounter the angel Azazel who guards the pathway to Enoch, the main arbiter between different beings and the ASIs.

(4.) Enoch | Metatron. 25,0150 AD; setting physical reality — where Enoch, guardian of the door to the palace of the ASIs ponders the journey of the lower cyberized humans who have come to him.

(5.) Hekhalot ||. 50,000 AD; setting physical reality — together an angel and another angel widen the scope of the world that the cyberized humans live inside of (not yet depicted)

Epilogue:

Novascene (Turbulent Child). 50,000 AD; settings unknown — an unfathomable being sings a lullaby (not yet depicted)
