Delta_Ark investigates “The Seventh Kingdom of Life” (emerging forms of intelligence—biosynthetic, digital and hybrid).
We conduct these explorations through creating large immersive virtual worlds where players, agents and player-agent teams coordinate to shape and transform the environment (and each other).
Each world is a stage built to explore urgent questions of climate change, machine-human political dynamics, symbiogenesis, and perception manipulation through embodied interaction, artifact construction and performance.
Our organization is divided into three different components: A Studio that produces simulation-art. A laboratory that produces whitepapers, software and community events. And a foundry that does work for hire.
Studio
The studio has developed three bodies of work: (1.) games, audio visual sets and events about artificial superintelligence, (2.) textual installations about social futurism and (3.) texts about desire, machines and spirituality. Subscribe for more info.

Foundry
The foundry builds complex animated characters that employ the most cutting edge ML and game AI algorithms for dialogue and behavior, along with the large and complex science fiction worlds they inhabit, for clients. Click here for more info.
